Masks but Make it Fashion
If you’re like me (and billions of other people), you may have now become fully adapted to our new era of ‘Mask Life’. It’s now instinct for you to put a mask on before you head out of your house. Or whenever you watch a show or movie now, you get flashes of anxiety seeing characters in crowded public spaces not wearing masks. Or if you’re truly deep into the mask life, you’ve developed a perfect skincare routine to battle the pestering “mascne” attacks.
But just because masks have become part of our lives now doesn’t mean it has to become a chore! There are thousands of companies selling affordable, fashionable masks out there and it’s your chance to start making masks a more fashion statement.
I, myself, have been attempting to put more effort into my mask wearing, either by trying to match whatever mask I’m wearing with my outfit of the day or just investing in cute, decorated masks.
If you’re still apprehensive about actually putting in effort to tailor your masks into a more fashion-conscious effort, have no fear! In order to give you some ideas on how exactly you can start changing up your mask style, I included some examples of celebrities to show how they’re staying safe in our pandemic while still looking stylish as ever.
I’ve also included some companies that sell cute masks AND donate part of the money earned to charities -- just in case you need a little help getting started.
The Era of Masks has fallen upon us and it’s up to everyone to make sure they do their civic duty (for themselves and others). Take this new era as an opportunity to accessorize your outfits and give them a little more spice. Who knew following CDC health guidelines could be so … fashionable?
