Pajama Day Everyday
Pajama sets have been unfairly left out of the matching sets trend! Probably due to some lame social construct :/ If you only like putting on half an outfit after rolling out of bed, here’s an Outfits of the Week incorporating your favorite PJ’s!
Monday: Biz Cas
Not quite Business Casual but hey it’s almost there! The classic components are all there: button up, clean denim, and flats—but the soft pajama top sets this outfit apart. Try wearing the “blouse” half-tucked for a more relaxed fit.
Tuesday: Kimo-yes
The title of this outfit is either the best or the worst pun I’ve ever made. Nonetheless, what a statement piece the kimono makes! I kept the rest of the outfit simple with a white t-shirt, blue denim, and white sneakers to let the kimono speak for itself.
Wednesday: Playtime!
I kept this next extra really low effort with a graphic tee, sneakers, and billowy pajama bottoms. (Shoutout to EthiCal for the cute tee :^)) Cuff the pants to slightly crop them while also achieving a more refined hem. I paired this with sneakers and tied my hair up for a more playful look. This outfit is ideal for any running around you might be doing… Happy Hump Day!
Thursday: Stitch it
Bring the pajama top back but this time make it more fun by pairing it with a skirt. I chose this skirt from Zara because it also has the same white piping as that of the blouse. Crop the pajama top with a knot or a tuck to show more of the skirt. Pairing this look with black boots will elongate the figure.
Friday: Glossy Night
The bold patterns on this satin pajama slip make it a statement piece in any outfit! I chose to pair a sweater on top to make the slip less revealing. The solid-colored knit also adds accentuates the pattern on the slip while adding a variety of texture and more soft layers! Pair the dress with some heels for a more elegant look. Bonus: Transition this outfit into night look by ditching the sweater.
Saturday/Sunday: Z Z Z
Finally it’s the weekend! Take the break you deserve and lounge in pajamas as they were meant to be worn. After all, looking presentable can take its toll.
Hope you can sleep in a little more this week :’) Stay cozy bears!!
